CEO and President

Mr. Dobkin is the principal founder, CEO and President of EPAM Systems. Under his direction, EPAM has grown to become one of the leading software and product engineering services companies in the world.

Mr. Dobkin began his career in Minsk, Belarus, where after working for several years as a programmer for a large government run enterprise he started his first private software company. After immigrating to the United States in 1991, he held technical and leadership positions in Prudential Insurance, Colgate-Palmolive and SAP Labs before focusing his full-time attention on developing EPAM into the company it is today.

For the past 20 years, Mr. Dobkin has been increasingly recognized as an instrumental force in opening the vast software talent pool of the former Soviet Union region and Central and Eastern Europe to the international business community. Mr. Dobkin is a recipient of numerous awards including being named as a C-Suite Standout by Forbes in 2014, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Years in 2014 for Belarus as well as EY’s Entrepreneur Of The Year for 2008 in Information Technology Consulting category in New Jersey. In 2006, Consulting Magazine named him to “Top 25 Most Influential Consultants”.

Mr. Dobkin holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from the Belarusian National Technical University.

Mr. Robb retired in 2015 from his full-time responsibilities as the Executive Vice President of EPAM and the President of EPAM System Europe.   Mr. Robb joined EPAM in 2004 when Fathom Technology, a Hungarian software development outsourcing company he co-founded, was acquired by EPAM Systems.

A 30 year global veteran of the software engineering and IT Solutions industries, Mr. Robb has spent ten years working in Western Europe, nine in the USA, and eleven in Eastern Europe. Prior to co-founding Fathom Technology in 2001, he served as Vice President of Softtek, Latin America’s largest and most successful IT Outsourcing provider, where he built and ran the “Software & e-Business Practice” for North America.

In 1993, Mr. Robb co-founded Mobile Computing Systems, a Bay-Area Mobile Enterprise Development Platform and Vertical Applications provider in the US, UK and Italy, which was acquired by the Malaysian Telecom operator. Previously he served as CEO of Victor Distribution A.B., a provider of specialized hardware and software solutions, covering 12 countries in Europe, North America, The Middle East and Asia. Subsequently following Victor Technologies’ acquisition by US’ Tandy Corp., he was promoted to VP Business Development of the parent company, Victor Tandy Europe AB in Sweden.

Mr. Robb began his career in 1982 with the global solutions provider ICL and spent seven years in the UK, Belgium and Sweden in a variety of roles, including: Business Analyst, Sales, Product Management and Marketing and Major Account Management with EU Governmental Institutions.

Michael Mayoras has served as a non-executive director of our board since January 2013. Mr. Mayoras previously led RedPrairie, now part of JDA, as Chief Executive Officer for five years. Prior to that, he held a number of executive roles at RedPrairie including President of the Americas, Executive Vice President of implementation services and support, and Executive Vice President for product development. Before joining RedPrairie, he was President of DigiTerra, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CIBER, a publicly-traded enterprise application and technology consulting company. Mr. Mayoras has more than 30 years of experience in the technology, consulting and software industries, having held several executive and senior management positions for various organizations. Active in both the industry and community, Mr. Mayoras serves as a member of the Board of Directors for RedPrairie, API Healthcare, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), as well as holds a seat on the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce's Technology Leadership Council. He was recently named a "Provider Pro to Know" by Supply & Demand Chain Executive.

Robert Segert has served as a non-executive director of our board since January 2012. Since July 2014, Mr. Segert has served as President and CEO of Expert Global Solutions, Inc., a global leader in the business process outsourcing (BPO) industry.

Before joining Expert Global Solutions, Mr. Segert served from 2008 to January 2014 as President and Chief Executive Officer and a director of GXS Worldwide, Inc. (GXS), a leading global provider of business-to-business e-commerce and data integration services that simplify and enhance business process integration, data quality and compliance, and collaboration among businesses. Prior to joining GXS, Mr. Segert spent ten years at Electronic Data Systems Corporation (EDS), a former $22 billion global technology services company, until EDS was acquired by Hewlett-Packard Company, in various capacities, including leader of the Global Financial Products Industry, Chief Marketing Officer, General Manager of U.S. Financial Services and Managing Director of Corporate Strategy and Planning. He has also held roles at A.T. Kearney and Frito-Lay, Inc.

Mr. Segert received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

Ronald P. Vargo has served as a non-executive director of our board since January 2012. Mr. Vargo served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of ICF International, Inc. (ICF) from April 2010 to May 2011. Prior to joining ICF, Mr. Vargo served as the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and as a member of the Executive Committee of Electronic Data Systems Corporation (EDS) from 2006 to 2008.

Prior to his role as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Vargo served in the positions of Vice President and Treasurer of EDS from 2004 to 2006 and was promoted to Co-Chief Financial Officer in March 2006. Prior to joining EDS, Mr. Vargo was employed from 1991 to 2003 by TRW, Inc. (TRW), a former $17 billion global manufacturing and service company strategically focused on providing products and services with a high technology or engineering content to the automotive, space and defense markets. TRW was acquired by Northrop Grumman Corporation in 2002. Mr. Vargo served TRW in the positions of Vice President of Investor Relations and Treasurer from 1991 to 1994, then Vice President of strategic planning and business development from 1994 to 1999, and then Vice President of Investor Relations and Treasurer again from 1999 to 2002. Mr. Vargo serves as a director of Ferro Corporation and as chair of its audit committee. Mr. Vargo holds an MBA in Finance and General Management from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Dartmouth College.

Dr. Peter Kuerpick has served as a non-executive director of our board and member of our Compensation Committee since September 2014. Dr. Kuerpick has been Executive Vice President of Product House at Unify GmbH & Co. KG (formerly Siemens Enterprise Communications) since May 2014.

Prior to joining Unify, Dr. Kuerpick worked as a freelance consultant for software companies and private equity companies. From 2011 to 2013, Dr. Kuerpick served as Executive Vice President at SAP AG responsible for major industry solutions. From 2005 to 2010, Dr. Kuerpick was a member of the executive team at Software AG, Inc., responsible for product management and research & development. From 1998 to 2005, he held various roles at SAP AG including Senior Vice President Netweaver Java Technology.

In 1994 he was awarded the Heinz-Maier-Leibnitz Award of the German Ministry of Research and Science for his Ph.D. From 1995 to 1997, he completed his post doctorate studies in the United States, working at the Kansas State University, and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He holds a Ph.D in Theoretical Physics and a Masters in Environmental Sciences from the University of Kassel.

Mr. Conte became Chief Financial Officer of the Company in November 2013.  Previously, he served as Vice President-Finance, where he was instrumental in the Company’s IPO; and as Controller when he joined EPAM in 2006.

Mr. Conte is a CPA with over 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, audit, international operations and strategic planning. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Conte spent 5 years in several senior finance roles within the McGraw Hill organization, last serving as Controller of its Platts business unit, a leading global provider of energy, petrochemicals, metals and agriculture information. Mr. Conte was also the finance manager for John Hancock’s International Operations, overseeing various established Asian subsidiaries and working to successfully launch a new Chinese subsidiary for the company.

Mr. Conte started his career at Coopers and Lybrand in Boston and holds a B.S. in Accounting and an M.B.A. from Northeastern University.

Mr. Fejes serves as the Co-Head of Global Business with a focus on Europe and APAC operations. In this role, he has responsibility for EPAM’s entire book of business in those regions.  Mr. Fejes also continues to oversee the strategy of EPAM's Banking and Financial Services Industry Business Unit, helping to drive evolution of key service lines across the unit’s entire global portfolio.

Prior to August 2012, Mr. Fejes served as EPAM's CTO and was responsible for ensuring that all of EPAM Systems global offshore and nearshore software development centers were at the leading edge of industry standards for efficiency and quality. Mr. Fejes joined EPAM in 2004 as part of the acquisition of Fathom Technology, a Hungarian software engineering firm which he cofounded and where he served as CTO.

Prior to co-founding Fathom Technology Mr. Fejes was a chief software architect/line manager with Microsoft Great Plains (Microsoft Business Solutions). He also served as chief software architect of Scala Business Solutions. He is the recipient of numerous awards for programming excellence and has worked extensively in the US and Russia.

Mr. Harlan joined EPAM in 2015 as a Senior Vice President of Business Transformation, Chief of Staff, Office of the CEO. In this role, he is responsible for key organizational transformation initiatives including establishing an operational performance framework for EPAM’s core business and ensuring appropriate management and stakeholder alignment across EPAM’s rapidly growing global portfolio.

Prior to EPAM, Mr. Harlan held a number of senior management roles in the Software Services and Outsourcing industries. Most recently, he served as CEO and a Member of the Board of SoftServe Inc., a US based Software Services Company with delivery operations in Ukraine, Bulgaria and Poland. Prior to that, Mr. Harlan was Executive Vice President & General Manager of the Software Product and Platform Division and President of the Software Management Solutions Division for Symphony Teleca Corp where he was responsible for over $200M in business and covered North America, Latin America, India, China, Western Europe, CIS, and Eastern Europe. Before that, he was with Affiliated Computer Services, a $2.6B Global IT Services Firm, with roles including Vice President Sales, SVP CTO and Divisional EVP. 

Mr. Harlan holds a BA in Accounting and Finance from the Louisiana State University.

Ms. Shekhter heads up EPAM’s Global Marketing and Strategy, working to integrate a variety of functions that have a material influence on the strategy, positioning and global brand of the company. She has been with the company in a number of roles including most recently as the Global Head of Business Development and prior to that as the Global Head of the Travel and Consumer Business Unit.

Prior to joining EPAM, Ms. Shekhter was with the travel and marketing giant, Carlson Companies, in a number of Operational and Business Development roles including Head of Retail and Entertainment for 24K, a spin-off of Carlson Marketing Group. Prior to Carlson, Ms. Shekhter was a Manager with Ernst and Young Consulting, specializing in CRM and Analytics engagements for notable clients such as 3M and GE.

Ms. Shekhter holds an MS degree in Information Systems and BS/BA degrees in Economic Theory and Political Science from The American University. She is active in the software startup and emerging technology community and takes a special interest in sustainability and artificial intelligence initiatives.

Mr. Dvorkin co-leads EPAM’s Global Delivery Organization, driving transformation in the company’s Delivery, Solution Practices and Competency Centers. Prior to his current role, he was the Head of the North American Business Unit, where he oversaw the operation of EPAM’s largest business unit with overall responsibility for the quality of services delivered in the North American region.

Mr. Dvorkin joined EPAM in 1997 and has been instrumental in driving the company's growth in emerging industries, technology and solution practices, helping EPAM to capitalize on the high-caliber Eastern European technical talent to deliver better quality, productivity and cost efficiencies to EPAM clients. Having worked and lived in the Unites States and Eastern Europe, Mr. Dvorkin has in-depth understanding of global delivery models and brings hands-on technology experience and working knowledge of multiple industries including Travel, Healthcare, Insurance and Oil & Gas.

Mr. Dvorkin holds a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the Belarusian National Technical University and a Ph.D. in Information Technology from the International IT Academy in Minsk, Belarus.

Mr. Yezhkov co-leads EPAM’s Global Delivery Organization with a focus on building and cultivating the organization’s software engineering skills and extending the delivery know-how into a broader geographic footprint. Prior to his position as head of Global Delivery, Mr. Yezhkov led EPAM's Independent Software Vendors & Technology Industry Business Unit, helping to cement the foundation for EPAM’s unique Product Development Mindset and approach. In this position, he focused on strategic clients in the High-Tech and Software Product Development sectors.

Mr. Yezhkov has more than 16 years of technology and management experience including extensive experience with global delivery models. He served as CTO and as a board member and advisor to several technology companies. Prior to EPAM, Mr. Yezhkov served as Managing Director and CTO of Vested Development Inc., where he was instrumental in driving the growth of VDI from its foundation to the successful acquisition by EPAM in 2006.

Mr. Yezhkov has an MS degree from Moscow State University.

Mr. Harman is Co-Head, Global Business Development at EPAM Systems. In his current role he has responsibility for the acquisition of new clients in EPAM’s target markets and growing EPAM’s footprint in existing clients. He has responsibility for directing EPAM sales, alliances, pre-sales and field marketing teams to achieve this aim. Mr. Harman joined EPAM UK operation 8 years ago and has been instrumental in the growth of the company in Europe (where he was latter responsible for EU business development) and the establishment of several strategic clients.

Mr. Harman has spent 18 years in Business Development roles with the digital services and software engineering space in both Europe and the US (leading Business Development and Alliances for West Coast operations of a digital consulting business) and over 10 years working with Central and Eastern European Technology Services companies.

Mr. Harman is a Chemistry graduate of Kings College London.

Mr. Corace leads the Americas Sales, Business Development, and the Strategic Partnerships organization focused on expanding EPAM’s business in the US, Canada and LATAM – with special attention to strategic account growth for new and existing clients. Prior to his role as SVP, Co-Global Head of Business Development, Mr. Corace was the President of Objectiva Software Solutions, a US and China based Technology Services firm. He served as President wherein he was responsible for a majority of the large account growth over his 5 years at Objectiva.

Prior to June 2010, Mr. Corace served as the Managing Director for Symphony Services. During his tenure he led the Financial Services and Strategic Consulting Groups–there he was responsible for managing a senior level group of sales, process and technology consultants as well as leading the strategic client acquisitions in the Financial Services and software technology sectors.

Mr. Corace's past positions include management and consulting positions at JPMChase, PricewaterhouseCoopers, IBM, and KPMG.

Ms. Mosier has served as EPAM Vice President, General Counsel since March 2010, as Assistant Corporate Secretary from May 2010 to January 2012 and as Corporate Secretary since January 2012.

Prior to joining EPAM, Ms. Mosier spent approximately eight years in a variety of legal positions with Hewlett-Packard Company. In her last position, she served as senior counsel advising on global IT outsourcing deals and related services transactions. Prior to that she advised a number of HP Software divisions as corporate counsel and was the legal representative for the HP Software Integration Office created for implementing the acquisition and integration of several software companies. Immediately prior to Hewlett-Packard, Ms. Mosier practiced corporate law at Drinker, Biddle & Reath.

Ms. Mosier began her legal career at Baker & Daniels. Ms. Mosier holds a J.D., magna cum laude, from Indiana University School of Law at Indianapolis where she was a member of the Indiana Law Review and a B.A. from Indiana University - Purdue University at Indianapolis.

Mr. Rahman is Vice President and leads EPAM’s Northern Europe Business. He is responsible for business operations, growth and P&L management of EPAM’s UK, Ireland and Nordics business.

Mr. Rahman has extensive experience in delivering business growth, leading high-performance teams and managing highly profitable global client portfolios. Prior to joining EPAM in September 2013 Mr Rahman spent a decade at Cognizant, an industry leader where he was part of its European Leadership Team within its Strategic Engagements & High-Value Deals Unit. Previous to this he served as a Director for Getronics, a European SI in its Business Consulting Team.

Mr. Rahman started his career as an Analyst for Cowen & Company in its investment banking technology sector. He worked with early-stage and pre-IPO technology companies in equity underwriting and M&A advisory assignments.

Mr. Rahman holds a BSc in Economics from the LSE (University of London).

Mr. Brauel leads EPAM’s business in continental Europe. He is responsible for general operations, growth and P&L management of EPAM’s business in Germany, Netherlands and Austria.

With more than 20 years of experience in software design and development, services delivery, management and business development Mr. Brauel always puts customer value first. His knowledge of technology combined with the ability to understand customer challenges and communicate and craft solutions for his customers are key to his leadership style.

In 1999 Mr. Brauel joined Software AG as an engineer working within the core product development group on new technologies. After having gone through roles in Product Marketing and Management, he spearheaded new and innovative service practices around solutions and transformation for the services group of Software AG and ran global sales and P&L for the services business of Software AG.

Mr.Brauel holds a computer science degree from the Technical University of Darmstadt.

Mr. Vitashkevich co-leads the North American Business Unit.  He is responsible for general operations, growth and P&L management of EPAM’s US and Global customers in Media, Entertainment, Travel, Hospitality and Publishing verticals.

Mr. Vitashkevich brings extensive experience in managing complex product development and services engagements across a broad range of clients with a specialization in the Media sector.

Mr. Vitashkevich joined EPAM in July 2009 after acquisition of Rodmon Systems, a Media industry service provider he co-founded and where he served as a CEO. Prior to founding Rodmon Systems, he held various management and consulting roles for information security, telecommunication and media companies.

Mr. Vitashkevich holds a degree from the Belarusian State University of Informatics.

Mr. Robinson co-leads the North American Business Unit. He is responsible for general operations, growth and P&L management of EPAM’s Canada operation as well as overseeing the North American Retail vertical.

Prior to 2014, Mr. Robinson held the position of VP/GM of EPAM Canada. Mr. Robinson joined EPAM in May 2012 after the acquisition of Thoughtcorp, a technology consulting provider he founded and served as a co-CEO. 

Mr. Robinson brings an extensive background in software engineering for large enterprise clients across North America across many verticals including Retail/CPG, Telecommunications, ISV, Banking and Bio-Healthcare.

Mr. Robinson holds a BSc (Hons) in Computing Sciences from Queen's University, Kingston, Canada.

Mr. Agafonov became General Manager of EPAM Systems Russia in March 2007 when VDI, a Russian software development company, where he served as COO, merged with EPAM Systems.

In his present position, Mr. Agafonov manages the EPAM business in the CIS region. He ensures the accomplishment of EPAM’s business goals, oversees planning and budgeting activities and executes performance analysis of CIS Operations.

A graduate from the Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Mr. Agafonov is an expert in the field of project management and quality management systems certification (CMMI/ISO 9001:2000).
