We are currently seeking senior-level User Experience Designers for perm, full time opportunities to join our Conshohocken, PA area team of professionals.

Our ideal candidate has exposure with all aspects of the user-centered design process, from user research through design implementation. This person will be involved the design and analysis of user research activities in order to leverage the findings into cohesive site architectures, wireframes, and functional specification documentation for web sites and applications. The senior level User Experience Designer will collaborate closely with strategists, account managers, designers, and developers to create the best possible user interactions and task flows while being mindful of key branding and marketing concerns.
Location:
  • Conshohocken, PA
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of relevant UX and/or design experience, preferably in an agency, including the creation of site maps, user flows, wireframes and detailed design annotations;
  • 2-3 years leading user research and usability testing activities;
  • 1-2 years mentoring/managing user-experience designers;
  • Experience designing across devices (desktop, mobile, tablet);
  • Significant experience communicating with and presenting to clients;
  • Experience with Axure or other wireframe prototyping tool a plus.
Qualification:
  • 3-5years of experience with UX/wireframing software including Visio, Omnigraffle, Axure, InDesign or other;
  • Strong ability to lead user research and testing activities and deliverables;
  • Excellent ability to explain complex design decisions to experts and laypeople;
  • Strong understanding of interaction design and usability best practices;
  • Understanding of responsive design;
  • Strong ability to lead UX activities within both agile and waterfall environments;
  • Ability to accurately estimate and delegate work so that it is delivered on time and on budget;
  • Strong understanding of relevant technologies for desktop and mobile;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Excellent presentation skills;
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams;
  • High-level knowledge of visual design and front-end development.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead a UX team in the creation site maps, flows, navigation strategies and wireframe prototypes and annotations;
  • Lead UX aspects of responsive-design projects;
  • Lead the data analysis and development of mental models and customer-journey maps;
  • Serve as UX Lead for new-business activities, presentations and estimates;
  • Lead user research and usability testing activities;
  • Present research findings and recommendations to internal and external teams ;
  • Collaborate with content strategy leads on hierarchy and taxonomy;
  • Collaborate with creative leads on process, interaction design and flows;
  • Present design work to internal team as well as clients ;
  • Delegate work to more junior UX designers as needed/appropriate;
  • Mentor associate-level UX designers.
