    Description:

    • The accepted Candidate will be appointed to pursue his/her long term carrier at EPAM UK (London) and will join to a high profile project at the client in London where he/she will fulfil a Business Analyst role covering business analysis, design and specification activities of the client's Data Warehouse Systems within the core Engineering Stream.

    Responsibilities:

    • The Business Analyst identifies gathers and translates the client requirements into highly specified requirement specification / project documentation / user story
    • Extensive cooperation with external or internal clients
    • Ability to consult with business partners and translate business needs to requirements
    • Development of functional and system design specifications for client engagements
    • Identification of options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability

  • Support Analyst

    Description:

    • The accepted Candidate will be appointed to pursue his/her long term carrier at EPAM UK (London) and will join to a high profile project at the client in London where he/she will fulfil a Support Analyst role covering business analysis, design and specification activities of the client's Data Warehouse Systems within the core Engineering Stream.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform Level 2 tasks supporting the regional overnight batches
    • Provide global support and work closely with team members in other regions
    • Manage Incident and Service Order tickets - receive, prioritize and track incidents and service orders
    • Liaise with business on issues, outage reporting/management including SLA reporting improvements
    • Liaise with the development teams for new releases
    • Liaise with the global support team for handovers, knowledge transfer and ensuring a standard model of support is implemented
    • Flexibility in hours is required. Some weekend work and escalation as per normal investment banking practices
    • Build and maintain scripts and tools to manage the production environment and relative reporting
    • Liaise with 24x7 Service desk based in Singapore on batch related issues
    • Work on project items that affect the production environment (including BCM etc)
    • Analyze, investigate, fix known issues or provide workaround to users
    • Liaise and follow-up with users, other second level support team, third level support team and application owners
    • Preliminary investigations on problems, communicate with 3rd level support team and application owners to provide solution or workaround
    • Internal Control Monitoring - perform checks on applications and systems

    Must have experience:

    • Qualification in a related field
    • A minimum of 2 years Production support experience in a related business area
    • Knowledge and experience with SQL, Scripting, Wintel
    • Ability to work in a global team with both global and regional responsibilities
    • Experience in a number of Windows, Unix (Linux). Involving basic scripting for monitoring requirements
    • Experience in RDBMS (Oracle, Sybase and MS SQL Server) in terms of basic querying and stored procedure debugging
