Advanced Content Management Components and Services
Content is King for our clients. From developing stand-alone Content systems or custom CM applications on top of major CM Platforms to the integration of leading CM products with other enterprise applications, EPAM offers outstanding experience and value to our clients.
EPAM's Content Services include engineering, analysis and implementation of leading solutions such as EMC/Documentum, Interwoven, Microsoft Stellent and SharePoint as well as the implementation of a host of open source CMS systems such as Alfresco. As an EMC Content Management Services Partner with an extensive knowledge of its products, we have built EPAM Documentum Practice — EPAM's EMC/Documentum specific solutions practice — to help clients bridge to the new generation of XML services and cloud computing with Documentum as the core platform.
As an alternative, EPAM has also developed our own open source Content Management System, EPAM CMS, which is geared for maximum flexibility in implementing key on-line services.
The EPAM CMS is aggregated into a robust e-business platform with a customizable set of content management tools. In addition to standard authoring, workflow and administration capabilities, the platform uniquely combines features of an Internet marketing and customer loyalty management solution that include banner ad management, web analytics, offers and promotional capabilities.

"There was a significant amount of custom, one-off development that
needed to be done," Craig Maccubbin, vice president of technology at LasVegas.com LLC says.
Maccubbin looked at several options, including both U.S. and offshore resources, before
picking Princeton, N.J.-based EPAM Systems Inc., along with companies in Ireland and the U.K.
EPAM built LasVegas.com's content management systems, developed custom code to work with
a third-party booking engine and maintains and updates the site.
"We've had fewer time-zone
issues with Minsk, despite the additional two hours of difference" from Ireland and the U.K.,
he says. Not only was the Minsk team more willing to adjust its working hours, but communication
was easier because of EPAM's project-tracking tools. Maccubbin estimates that hiring EPAM
resulted in costs 20% to 30% less than in-house programmers and even greater savings over
U.S.-based consultants."
