EPAM’s Engagements are as diverse and unique as our customers - ranging from partnerships at the inception of a software product start-up, to supporting multi-year global IT outsourcing initiatives for larger corporations. Over nearly two decades in the application development and outsourcing business, we have developed several innovations in how we approach delivery.
Today, EPAM operates a number of Global ODCs /NDCs (Offshore/NearShore Development Centers). These are stand-alone, customer driven, EPAM-managed operations that span a range of services and technology areas. They typically include larger teams who frequently support multiple locations in multiple time zones. EPAM ODCs are unique in that they are built on a foundation of core knowledge with an evolutionary approach to growth. This allows us to manage all key success factors in delivery as well as core technology, both proactively and transparently.
Modeled after a dedicated ODC, the EPAM Center of Excellence (CoE) allows customers to retain expertise through dedicated Core teams. In addition, CoE helps our clients manage variability in both demand and makeup of services through the addition of expanded teams around key services or technologies. Centers of Excellence exist for a number of our strategic clients and range from engagement based teams focused on a key technological capability (such as Salesforce.com), to Centers built around a specific innovation in services such as Support-as-a-Service (SLA-driven support).
Through our continuous investment and innovation around staffing and service delivery, engaging with EPAM is a simple and transparent process. We support traditional outsourcing engagements including time and materials, fixed-fee, SLA based, and Onshore/NearShore/Offshore staff extension engagements.

A leading global investment bank was looking to expand and consolidate its IT capacity cost effectively in an offshore location. EPAM established a standalone ODC in the CIS Region for the Company. EPAM now serves all of the Company’s business areas for their offices in the Americas, EMEA and APAC, providing them with comprehensive Application Development, Application Testing and Application Management Services.
