The Travis Perkins plc IT team are celebrating after scooping a prestige award for Best DevOps Team at a major industry event

The Computing Awards 2017, a new event in the award calendar for IT, celebrates success in the industry and this year recognised Northampton based Travis Perkins plc colleagues for being the very best in their area of expertise. The 500 strong IT department, based in the town, develops new ways of agile working in line with exciting innovation plans across the business and is keen to recruit people to join its multi-award winning team. 

Many organisations like Travis Perkins plc today see the benefits of implementing a DevOps culture, with faster, more iterative software releases, more innovation, and an overall more nimble business being amongst the desired results.   The team in Northampton is augmented by support from our partner EPAM, a leading global provider of product development and software engineering solutions.
