Equal Employment Opportunity

EPAM Systems, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.  We recognize the value of diversity and inclusion in creating success for our customers, business partners, shareholders, employees and communities. We are committed to recruiting, hiring, developing and promoting employees without discrimination. As a global employer, this commitment includes complying with all laws in the countries in which we operate. Nevertheless, we believe equal employment practices should not be limited to what the law requires. Equal opportunity and inclusion are essential to motivate, empower and recognize the best in everyone.

At EPAM, employment actions are based on individual qualifications, without regard to race, color, religion, creed, gender, pregnancy status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital or familial status, national origin, ancestry, genetics, age, disability status, veteran status, citizenship status when otherwise legally able to work, or any other characteristic protected by law.

Fair Employment Practices

In Singapore, EPAM abides by the Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices (TGFEP) and adopts fair and merit-based employment practices.

This includes recruiting and selecting employees on the basis of merit (such as skills, experience or ability to perform the job), and regardless of age, race, gender, religion, marital status and family responsibilities, or disability.

Employment Act

The Employment Act is Singapore’s main labour law, and provides for the basic terms and conditions at work for employees covered by the Act. More information can be found here. All EPAM employees (local and foreign) are covered under this act as long as the employee is working under a contract of service with EPAM.

EPAM is also in alignment with the ‘Workright’ policies recommended by the Ministry of Manpower in Singapore. The Workright initiative, launched since 2012 helps employees and employers understand their rights and obligations respectively in accordance with the Employment Act and CPF Act.
