DESCRIPTION


Currently we are looking for a DevOps Engineer for our Dnipro office to make the team even stronger.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and implementing new environments in cloud environments and datacenters
  • Provide solutions for infrastructures with complex needs such as: high availability, configuration deployments, monitoring, logging etc
  • Writing operations related automation scripts and configurations
  • Operation and maintenance of production environments
  • Deployment of applications, patches and hot fixes
  • Perform deep drill down analysis of application, system and network issues and provide necessary solutions
  • Come up with new ideas, changes, improvements and simplify the infrastructures
  • Provide technical support for the company’s customers
  • Documenting related information
  • Provide clear, crisp communication to colleagues and customers
  • Coordination of support related tasks among the internal teams
  • 24x7 on call availability for emergencies during weekends/off hours

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working as a DevOps/Systems Engineer/Build & Release Engineer
  • Demonstrates a sense of ownership in all duties assigned
  • Must have – strong hands on experience with Linux (at least 2 years)
  • Proven experience with Azure Cloud
  • Must have – Experience programming in one or more of the following languages: Python, Perl, C or Java
  • Troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Experience with cloud environments - an advantage
  • Good knowledge of networking and firewalls
  • Good understanding of the HTTP protocol (headers, methods)
  • Experience configuring web servers
  • B.A in technology related areas - an advantage
  • Good spoken and written English
