Currently we are looking for a Magento Developer for our Minsk office to make the team even stronger.
EPAM PHP Solutions department invites Magento/PHP Developers to work on the Magento platform (versions 1 and 2). We use Agile methodologies, the most up-to-date technologies, Continuous Integration practices. We constantly learn by participation in R&Ds projects and share experience. Our plan is to collect a team of professionals capable to contribute to the development of one of the most popular e-commerce solutions in the world.
Responsibilities
- Module development from scratch
- Support and development of the existing code base
- Examination and clarification of the project requirements and documentation
- Following and understanding of the established development processes
- Oral and written communication with clients (task resolution status, clarification of requirements)
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in PHP development
- 1+ years’ experience in Magento development (1.4+)
- Experience in Magento theming
- Experience in MySQL, proficiency in making SQL queries
- Experience in Linux OS
- Experience in version control systems (Subversion, Git or Mercurial)
- At least Pre-Intermediate level of spoken English
- Deep knowledge of the OOP framework
- In-depth understanding of the MVC pattern in context of Magento
- PHP 5 (including work with XML and files, sessions, cookies, exceptions and error processing)
- Knowledge of PHP infrastructure and web applications
- MySQL (engines, indexes)
- SQL (syntax, joining tables, grouping, aggregation, subqueries, etc.)
Nice to have
- Knowledge of design patterns
- Sphinx, Solr background
