EPAM is currently looking to grow its East Coast Delivery practice, specifically in Boston. At EPAM, we consider the Delivery Director position key to the success of every project that we accomplish. The ideal candidate will be a mix of Solution Architect, Program Manager, and people leader. This role will work hand-in-hand with EPAM’s Account Managers and our clients to ensure our services are delivered successfully. The Delivery Manager translates the vision of the work into a comprehensive plan and drives execution while building a strong relationship with the client.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with Account Managers and will be accountable for all aspects of delivery
  • Responsible to run discovery and consulting engagements alongside other EPAM members from Account Managers to Solution Architects to Practice heads
  • Provide assistance to sales as a technology expert and Pre-sales supervision, coordination and execution
  • Responsible for Technical Architecture and Estimations validation
  • Assist in setting up the team and kicking-off the project
  • Responsible for all aspects of on-going Program and Project Management
  • Manage client expectations from deliverables perspective
  • Work closely with our Staffing coordination team and resource managers
  • Create and manage career development plans, compensation etc (People Management)

What You Have

  • Candidate should have strong project or program management skills in a highly technical environment
  • Additional experience in risk management is a plus
  • Highly Technical consultant with an engineering or Solution architecture background
  • Thorough understanding of how to plan, resource, and deliver large-scale technical projects
  • Proven experience managing/coordinating portfolio of project
  • Experience working in a pre-sales environment from solutioning to client communication
  • Experience in kicking off new projects
  • Good knowledge of software development lifecycle, methodologies (Agile, Kanban, Waterfall) and IT roles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • Good business communication and time management skills
