DESCRIPTION


Currently we are looking for an IT Project Manager for our Krakow office to make the team even stronger.

You will be working in a global team that develops and maintains a suite of applications that comprise a Securities Operations and Corporate Action systems in Group Operations IT. The system is used for supporting trade lifecycle in back office of the Investment Bank. Members of this team work closely with Global Securities Management, as well as operations team from all business areas and business development analysts to provide global solutions for varied business requirements. The system is the basis of the next-generation securities management system. The single most important part of our work is software craftsmanship - we push software quality and automation to the limits always understanding the value we want to provide.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the project on time, in the expected quality and within budget according to defined contracts
  • Provide project change management
  • Be responsible for all necessary planning, controlling and reporting tasks within its project
  • Manage risks, issues and dependencies
  • Provide the stakeholders with transparent, accurate and regular information regarding the status of committed project deliveries
  • Keep adequate project documentation
  • Evaluate the project team in order to support Line Managers in their employee evaluation
  • Ensure that the project follows standardization according to the Software Development Life; Cycle (SDLC) definitions and other standards
  • Comply with given standards and regulations
  • Implement the agreed sourcing pattern
  • Contribute to a positive team spirit
  • Organize and leads the project and the team (i.e. plans and manages allocated resources, shapes priorities, coordinates interactions with customers and users and keeps the project team focused) on mandate of Program Manager
  • Manage relationship with all project stakeholders (CIO function, Business, BSM, Interface partners, etc.)
  • Coordinate regularly with the Business Project Lead concerning requirements, project plan and reporting
  • Organize and lead the project team (i.e. plans and manages allocated resources, shape priorities, coordinate interactions with customers and users and keep the project team focused)
  • Ensure an efficient project governance – roles and responsibilities
  • Provide the project plan and updates it as needed (deadlines, milestones, delivery, requested and planned resources etc.)
  • Schedule and manage the project according to the project management plan and ensures all relevant project deliveries during all phases
  • Establish a set of practices that ensure the integrity and quality of project work products
  • Ensure all necessary sign-offs according to the guidelines and performs all relevant reviews
  • Ensure provision of cost and effort estimations
  • Staff the project by requesting resources, e.g. PMO, BA, DEV
  • Prepare information and recommendation for choosing the appropriate sourcing pattern

Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple streams and projects within one program
  • Experience in the software development lifecycle, the domain of the application and platform
  • Scope estimation, planning, time management, scheduling, project costing, and budget management
  • Resource planning, resource management, and procurement
  • Risk analysis, dependencies, and decision analysis skills
  • Presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Experience in project management
  • Leadership and team building capabilities
  • Conflict resolution, problem solving skills, and the ability to make sound decisions under stress
  • Deliverables based management, a focus on the delivery of customer value, in the form of executing software that meets (or exceeds) the customer's needs
  • Nice to have: experience in post-trade processes in financial institution
