JOB ROLE


As part of our strategic growth, we are looking for highly experienced insurance sector consultant practitioners who are aspiring to join a vibrant, growing business and dynamic team culture. You lead the insurance consulting practice build-out focusing on the UK insurance market with delivery across the project cycle from pre-sale opportunities to execution of engineering services. The position would be part of our Financial Services Consulting - Wealth Management & Insurance Practice based out of Zurich with the UK region as a focus. Travel possible within Europe depending upon your client and business development activities.

Leverage your in-depth insurance domain subject matter expertize, industry relationships and external consulting hands-on transformational experience. You lead multi-disciplinary teams and face off with senior client stakeholders, SME’s as well as actively managing client relationships and developing innovative approaches / solutions to delivery. Provide your advisory and subject matter leadership to business development via proposals and value proposition materials to position EPAM in the market. This rather unconventional role will be further shaped and evolve around your particular business needs and strategy.

Requirements

  • 10-15+ years relevant combined industry and consulting experience (senior manager/director) i.e. a “Big-4” and / or consultancy boutiques / system integrators
  • Possess an excellent understanding of specific insurance domain knowledge specializations: e.g. agency models, underwriting, client portals, policy & claims management, business /IT architecture capability, operating models, risk management, corporate functions, digitalization solutions, product offerings
  • Knowledge / experience with digital innovation, customer experience, “InsurTech / FinTech” eco-systems and advising on market dynamics would be desirable
  • Bachelor's / Master's university degree and additional relevant credentials / certifications are an asset
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary solutions with dispersed teams and cultures
  • Robust project management methodology and experienced with multi-disciplinary project environments
  • Demonstrated experience in advising and supporting business development and account teams with providing domain expertize, consulting methodology know-how, preparing proposals, developing value propositions, and performing senior management presentations
  • Sound capability to lead with your knowledge of UK and European Insurance players / sector dynamics and trends
  • Possessing key client relationships and industry network. Entrusted with senior project roles acting as the primary face-off to clients and project sponsors
  • Team leadership skills, staff mentoring combined with a high emotional intelligence
  • Advanced communication, presentation, facilitation, MS-Office & VISIO, organizational, and planning skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Our global corporate working language is English
