ABOUT PROJECT


You will be involved in the support and enhancement of the existing Regulation and Compliance system OATS (Order Audit Trail System). OATS system consists of the following components: OATS, S3, ACT, Bluesheets.

70% of the work is going to be support BAU, 20% corner cases and 10% features development.

What You’ll Do

  • OATS:
    • Be in charge of the day-to-day support (e.g. infrastructure for reports not running), SQL (Oracle)
    • Investigate some data corner cases (work with other teams e.g. compliance)
    • Develop new features: Perl, Linux, SFTP scripts in Python
  • S3 (trace performance reports - goes from Routex DB): Perl, Oracle SPs - need heavy SQL knowledge, SFTP-related scripts in Python

What You Have

  • Strong ability to do scripting with Perl, Python
  • Ample knowledge of SQL queries, in-depth knowledge of database management systems (especially Oracle, Sybase)
  • Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Ability to read and analyze application logs to escalate to the relevant testing and development teams
  • Good problem-solving skills to provide root cause analysis of problems and workarounds
