Lead AngularJS Software Engineer

Our client is a global transportation services company with industry segments like retail automotive, truck leasing, transportation logistics and professional motorsports.
Currently, there are 7 core enterprise-level applications, but the team is building a roadmap for growing other applications (based on existing data and processes). The focus will be on a complete rewrite (with the newest version of Angular).
There will be 5 JavaScript developers and 2 UX designers (that handle CSS and HTML) in the team.

● Drive application development focused around delivering business critical features
● Work directly with Product Owners to determine new features and applications
● Lead development of new functionality working with cross-functional Agile project teams
● Collaborate with the Agile team and the Product Manager to prioritize and implement features
● Lead development team (5 developers), providing technical assistance and direction when needed
● Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices
● Guide development, debugging, and testing of application software for accuracy, integrity, interoperability, and completeness

  • Angular 7, HTML5, CSS3, Webpack 2, Karma + Jasmine (Unit testing), BEM, Highcharts, TypeScript, SCSS, Redux, Lerna, PusherJs, Lodash
  • Scrum, Kanban


  • Interacting with business users, SMEs to understand requirements and design solutions
  • Working on high priority, critical issues
  • Conducting code review for the team
  • Collaborating with Solution Architects and Developers to provide technical design guidance that will align with the strategy and applicable technical standards
  • Providing technical mentoring to developers
  • Delivering solutions within Agile methodology, ensuring quality, timeliness and team-wide adherence to good architectural practice and guidelines
  • Dev/UAT deployment
