Are you a passionate engineer and Java developer with a strong focus on delivery? Do you like to be challenged and encouraged to learn and grow professionally? Are you a multitasker and experienced in developing web-based IT application using Java/J2ee?
Then we are looking for someone like you to develop and maintain IT applications in our client’s office based in Zurich.
As a software engineer in our Zurich location, you’ll play an important role in building the next generation of Credit Risk tools. You'll be working with like-minded colleagues in Pune, Mumbai, Singapore, London and Zurich.


  • Implement and deliver high quality software solutions / components for the Credit Risk platform that conform to architectural standards (Java based web applications)
  • Drive continuous integration and improvements
  • Provide production support
  • Work closely with and advise Business Analysts, Testers and Management on technical matters


  • Excellent understanding of object-oriented design and development
  • The skills to develop Java/J2EE web-based applications using well known Java frameworks and technologies like Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Webservices
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber and Mockito
  • Knowledge about developing using JavaScript based UI frameworks like jQuery and AngularJS
  • Good organization and coordination skills and ability to challenge quality and consistency of business and IT deliverables
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure things out)
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in liaising with global compliance teams
  • Experience in software integration techniques such as web services
  • Basic database and data analysis skills
  • A good understanding of Application and Web servers. Websphere/Tomcat technology preferred
  • Keen to develop subject matter expertise on our core vendor product and solutions overall
  • Flexible and resilient team player with strong interpersonal skills taking initiative to drive things forward
  • Able to multitask and work on different projects in parallel, accurate and focused on deliverables
  • A strong team player with winning personality and ability to work across different areas and engage key stakeholders
  • Result oriented and able to produce high quality under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Fluent in English and German skills are of advantage
