Currently, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in Vitebsk.

We need a hard-working self-starter with a can-do attitude to join the team of professionals. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to drive with the team through cloud engineering.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze and improve existing systems, services and infrastructure
  • Operate the platform within security and privacy guidelines
  • Deliver commitments and timely escalate blockers
  • Install delivery pipeline from scratch
  • Be a Gospeller of DevOps philosophy, CI/CD and Continuous Improvement values, spreading it across the field

Project technologies and tools

  • Puppet or Chef or Ansible
  • Jenkins or TeamCity
  • Terraform experience welcome
  • Linux administration experience
  • VCS administration experience required, git, svn
  • Atlassian Stash, Jira, Confluence support experience
  • AWS CloudFormation, Lambda, ECS
  • Advanced delivery pipeline, Strong CI/CD process
  • Docker, AWS ECS, Kubernetes

What You Have

  • Strong experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Linux-based (CentOS, Debian, Amazon Linux, or similar) production systems
  • 1+ years of any scripting language experience (Bash/Ruby/Python/Perl/etc.)
  • 1+ years of automatically provisioning, configuring and deploying environments experience
  • 1+ year of experience in tools such as Puppet, Chef, Salt, Ansible, CloudFormation, Lambda, Terraform, Heat, etc
  • Experience in any of virtualization/cloud (like AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, VMWare, Xen, OpenStack)
  • English – must be able to participate in Scrum meetings
  • Basic Agile/Scrum/Kanban/Lean understanding

Nice to have

  • AWS SDK experience in your favorite language (such as Boto for Python)
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as a Code principles and DevOps philosophy
  • Knowledge of AWS CodeDeploy and AWS Lambda
  • DB management experience (such as MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, some NoSQL)
  • Experience in monitoring and data mining such as ELK, Splunk, Sumo Logic, etc
  • Experience in alerting monitoring such as Nagios/Icinga or similar
