Responsibilities

  • Play the Data Quality Engineer role
  • Design and Implement quality verification of data products strategy and ensure that all areas of the business needs perform to the defined standards
  • Choose proper Data tools and defining priorities, risk and attributes in quality testing strategy
  • Prepare Data Quality environments and applications in compliance with the standards (test data sets preparation, data profiling and bench marking)
  • Work with product and engineering and customer teams to understand requirements to implement quality testing strategy
  • Perform data migration, data processing and data comparison testing, analyze issues’ root causes and work with developers to fix the technical issues
  • Perform data performance testing, analyze performance bottlenecks and provide performance tuning suggestions
  • Maintain collaboration with all teams involved in Data Solution Development to ensure efficient tasks execution for achieving results
  • Collaborate with end users for acceptance test activities (UAT)

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science or related majors
  • Engineering experience and practice in Data Management, Data Quality verification/Data Governance, Data Visualization testing, Data Integration
  • Familiar with concepts of DATAHOUE, DATAMART
  • Familiar with Hadoop working suits as well as Hive, Spark, HBase
  • Test Automation working experience with Python or Java
  • Understanding of CI / CD principles and best practices in data processing
  • Data-oriented personality. Motivated, independent, efficient and able to work under pressure with a solid sense for setting priorities
  • Fast learning abilities and capabilities to adjust to new environments quickly
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced agile development environment
  • Skills in infrastructure troubleshooting, support in performance tuning and optimization, bottleneck problem analysis
  • Analytical approach to problem solving; excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experienced in different business domains
  • Intermediate (CEFR B1) or higher level of spoken and written English
