DESCRIPTION


We are hiring for a Java developer for a project with a financial service client. The key criteria is to have strong Java skills with knowledge on Thunderhead preferred. The candidate should have good presentation and coordination skills to work from onsite with our stakeholders and the offshore team.

Responsibilities

  • Understand user requirements, design, build and maintain reusable codes
  • Perform unit testing and non-functional testing
  • Troubleshoot and debug application
  • Provide technical directions and system architecture

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related majors
  • Proven working experience in Java development and working on Thunderhead product is a plus
  • Experience in managing Thunderhead instances with knowledge on Admin, business content studio, business object studio, user management etc
  • Good hands on experience on Spring, JMS, IBM MQ, unix, shell scripting, web service, Ant, Junit, subversion, Github
  • Development experience on the database is a plus
  • Experience in designing and building applications
  • Good understanding of software design and programming principles
  • A team player with good communication skills
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
  • Great attention to detail
  • Good time-management skills
  • Being able to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Able to pick up new template development work if there is a need to do template development
