DESCRIPTION
EPAM are looking for customer-focused Business Analysts who can evidence a proven track record in delivering technology solutions. You will work on a wide range of customer engagements, ranging from small consultancy assignments generating actionable insights to improve our customer’s business, to working alongside our best-in-class engineering teams & domain experts to deliver cutting edge solutions to our customers.
Responsibilities
- We are seeking a talented, standout Senior Business Analyst with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working on IT projects as a Business Analyst. You must be able to:
- Understand the requirements from the customer product team
- Working in a team of 5-7 business analysts, taking ownership of several functional areas of the product
- Work with Product Managers and country stakeholders to define, evaluate and document country requirements, identify the business problem or need, feature goals and KPIs
- Balance the specific requirements/constraints each country may have for the feature, come up with adequate flexible central solution
- Drive the process to elaborate design solution together with UX & VD team, deliver the detailed requirements and specifications
- Present the feature ask to the architecture and development teams, adjust and improve the requirements following the feasibility feedback, ensuring best effort/value ratio is achieved
- Support the requirements during the delivery cycle, clarify and address issues and questions in collaboration with product, UX, VD and technology teams; validate the eventual implementation
- Act as central point of contact for the features in dedicated areas for all internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and document the as-is and to-be, and define a road map of how best to move from the current to future state
- Identify, document, analyze and improve business and system processes, and user journeys
- Organize and drive the identification, prioritization, documentation, communication of - and commitment to - business requirements throughout the project lifecycle, using a variety of recognized techniques and tools
- Facilitate the development of business requirements through discussions, workshops, interviews, observation, GAP analyses and other appropriate methods and techniques
- Utilize a variety of methods to best document and communicate requirements, including wireframes, user stories, use cases and specifications
- Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, using a variety of methods including Agile product backlogs: Vision, Epics, Stories, Use Cases
- Proactively co-ordinate focus and activity to ensure the client’s requirements are met through delivery
- Review, assess and advise on project changes, especially when they impact agreed scope or requirements
- Develop accurate and complete user and business acceptance test plans, and test scenarios and scripts; and manage and facilitate UAT execution
Requirements
- The ideal candidate:
- Is knowledgeable about IT-enabled change and is delivery-focused
- Must have extensive experience of the Business Analyst role across all stages of the project lifecycle, in both Agile and Waterfall environments
- Must demonstrable expertise in a variety of pan-lifecycle business analysis methods and techniques
- Whilst able to draw on vast experience if traditional analysis techniques and tools, should be able to innovate when called for – always ensuring that the analysis approach, methods and deliverables are adapted to - and suitable for - the scenario in-hand
- Utilize tracking tools such as JIRA, TFS or Rally
- Basic wireframes/mockup skills including modeling tools experience: Balsamiq
- Modeling skills – business process diagrams (BPMN/UML) including modeling tools experience: Enterprise Architect, Visio
