EPAM are looking for customer-focused Business Analysts who can evidence a proven track record in delivering software development solutions. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in the banking domain application/system with extensive experience on end-to-end software delivery across the banking industry. Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and Business Analyst on the assignments, understanding the Client’s business needs and translating them into requirements for development teams
  • Engage and assist stakeholders and/ clients to articulate requirements
  • Provide thought leadership within own area of responsibility and provide SME support to extended different teams by articulating requirements
  • Help stakeholders/clients understand the best mix of technologies, solutions and services, and how to deliver them to maximise business value
  • Work and collaborate with different stakeholders and/ 3rd party suppliers, adapting your communications approach to meet the business demands
  • Elicit requirements, prioritise and analyse requests, design business processes, workflows and user interfaces, review of functional specifications and data mapping templates
  • Able to translate technical designs and jargons into terms that business can understand and associate
  • Prepare / review test scenarios and test cases, support test utility team for SIT, support user for UAT and other related activities to ensure business needs are met
  • Ensure stakeholders expectations are met, the gaps in deliverables are identified as soonest and addressed effectively
  • Understand and stay abreast of current and emerging trends, be aware of opportunities and challenges and how they may impact our business

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • At least 5 – 6 years of business analysis experience in banking domain
  • Be familiar with emerging digital trends and banking domain application
  • Have at least 3-4 end-to-end delivery/projects experience
  • Possess a strong Agile mindset and be familiar with other development methodologies and able to development requirements and user stories with behavior driven development method
  • Well versed with creating product artifacts including user stories and providing sign-off to engineering team
  • Good in technical documentation, understanding and developing user stories with collaborating different stakeholders
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and client management skills
  • Having exposure in playing a proxy product management role would be an added advantage
  • Clear understanding of the ceremonies conducted in the agile project delivery
  • Have the passion and desire to keep learning about new practices and technology, supporting EPAM’s reputation for Software Engineering Excellence
