Senior Enterprise Architect Technology Consultant Hoofddorp, Netherlands

Responsibilities

• Thought leadership in the digital consumer space complemented with people leadership
• Define vision, strategy, solutions for our clients’ businesses and back it by execution
• Trusted advisor to senior stakeholders as well as multi-disciplinary teams
• Drive initiatives from inception and discovery up to launch
• Collaborate with customers, technology vendors and delivery teams to bring the best out of EPAM’s value proposition to maximise outcomes
• Taking an active leadership role in the community of consultants working in the wider UK and global EPAM community
• Propose, define and develop propositions that EPAM should be offering to its clients and to the market as opportunities or technology innovations arise and directing the development of EPAM products/tools, intellectual property or other assets across projects and sectors

Requirements

• Strong experience as an Enterprise Architect, Technical Consultant or Technical Delivery Manager
• A broad grounding in tech so a purist architect may not work
• Strong advisory and consultative sales experience
• A career grounded in internet and consumer business transformation
• Experience in leading and delivering large scale digital transformation
• Retail or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry background
• Able to have legacy transformation or a digital innovation lab conversations
• Expertise in defining end to end solutions particularly in Microservices API based Cloud native & Headless (MACH) based solutions
• Worked with Agile methodologies & frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, SAFE etc
• Ability to thrive in complex and sometimes ambiguous scenarios
• Proficient at communicating strategies, policies and technical issues to both business and technical audiences
• Awareness and opinions on emerging technology trends (MACH) and in modern society such as social networking, social media etc
• Comfortable expressing points-of-view, making recommendations and presenting analysis and recommendations up to board level where appropriate
• Ability to develop productive client relationships at different management levels and identify and develop opportunities for new business
• Experience of consulting or service provider roles (internal, or external)
• Well-read on the latest happenings in the industry, able to think strategically about a client’s needs but also able to be pragmatic and outcome-focused in delivery
• Possess the ability to clearly articulate the pros and cons of technology choices
• Comfortable facilitating group discussions and leading client strategy and design activities
• Ability to prepare elements of sales proposals to represent EPAM’s expertise and approaches
• Inspired and mentored early career technologists
