DESCRIPTION


Currently we are looking for a Fire and Labor Safety Specialist for our Gdansk office.

What You’ll Do

  • Supervision on an ongoing basis and inspection of working conditions and compliance with fire and occupational health and safety regulations
  • Participation in establishing documents and records for instructions, procedures, internal regulations and terms and conditions regarding OHS
  • Organization and conducting initial trainings in OHS in Polish and English
  • Preparation of comprehensive post-accident documentation, establishing the circumstances and cause of the accidents
  • Monitoring and reporting of hazardous events and informing supervisors about the threats
  • Reporting and performing analysis of risk assessment and risk management at the workplace and their actualization
  • Participation in providing opinions on actions planned in company and implementing procedures regarding OHS
  • Participation in inspections done by public authorities – The National Labour Inspectorate, The Sanitary-epidemiological Station
  • Cooperation with Administration of office buildings in Krakow/Wroclaw/Katowice/Gdansk/Warsaw in terms of technical review, fire regulations and actualization of necessary documentation
  • Participation in work of OHS Committee
  • Coordination of Emergency Response Team actions
  • Other assignments resulting from current labour regulations, regarding OHS, commissioned by supervisor

What You Have

  • Professional education in OHS
  • 1 year of professional experience in OHS
  • Qualifications and predispositions to conduct OHS trainings
  • Practical knowledge of OHS regulations
  • Initiative, self-reliance and commitment
  • Satisfactory knowledge of English to the extent necessary for the freely OHS training conduction and communication with coworkers
  • Availability
  • Ability to response accurately in stressful situations
