QA Engineer (E-Commerce Domain)

EPAM Systems E-Commerce Solution Practice is seeking a talented QA Engineer to enforce our delivery teams and build new challenging “Next in class” E-Commerce Solutions for global retailers. You will work with people who really care on small (25+ people) to medium-sized (100+ people) projects. Tons of interesting intensive work, assuring high quality of end product in Production mode instead of just routine testing, special Oracle Commerce and SAP Hybris trainings together with E-Commerce domain knowledge, cutting edge people management practices – all is included.

  • Analyze the requirements prepared by BA team
  • Create and review test documentation including checklists and test cases, prioritize and estimate them
  • Perform manual functional, UI, cross-browser testing of the E-Commerce solutions including web site and back-end
  • Analyze the impact of new solution and run appropriate regression testing
  • Analyze logs in order to understand the root causes of issues
  • Work with bugs, create and maintain HOWTOs and other materials for QA team
  • Participate in stand-ups, planning sessions and retrospectives
  • Help the Customer during UAT phase, analyze Customer’s bugs from UAT
  • Assist in new versions releases to Production


  • Professional focus on manual functional testing of Web applications
  • 1,5+ years of QA experience
  • 2-3 projects working experience
  • Understanding of the Scrum main terms (standup, retrospective, backlog, iteration, etc.) and principles
  • Spoken English - Intermediate level and higher
  • Active, communicative person ready to work and develop him/herself in testing
  • Striving for excellence and best delivery ever, thinking in terms of product development
  • Readiness to work intensively and by hands

Nice to have

  • Experience in working with 3rd party vendors and offshore teams
  • Complex business logic testing (finance, insurance, travel, medicine domains)
  • Mobile testing experience
  • Test strategy definition on the level of features or whole project
  • Web Services testing - at least understanding what it is and how to test it
  • Test automation - at least on the level of running the scripts and results analyzing
  • E-Commerce-related projects experience
  • UNIX-like OS, Relational DBs and App Servers usage experience
