Lead Product Designer Description
EPAM is seeking a talented Lead Product Designer with a background in gaming to join our team.

This is a fully remote position that offers you the flexibility to work from any location in Armenia, whether it's your home or well-equipped offices in Yerevan or Gyumri.

Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare digital interaction concepts for gaming platforms (e.g., online casinos, game marketplaces), overseeing the creation of vibrant and eye-catching designs that capture user attention
- Inspire and guide a team of creative designers, providing art direction, constructive feedback and mentorship
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring effective task prioritization and management
- Motivate and foster professional growth within the design team
- Review design concepts and mockups to ensure they meet project requirements and quality standards
- Present design ideas to clients and stakeholders, incorporating their feedback into improvements
- Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure designs are technically feasible and functional
- Continuously develop new design concepts and ideas to drive innovation within the team
Requirements
- 4+ years of industry experience with a strong portfolio showcasing innovative design
- Strong understanding of industry-standard practices, tools, pipelines, workflows, technical budgeting and the challenges of real-time development
- Leadership skills, especially in collaborating with designers and artists
- Ability to make decisions based on data
- Experience managing external resources and working with outsourcing studios
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in fast-paced environment
- B2+ written and spoken English
Nice to have
- Background in managing design operations and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of user experience, visual design and creative design principles in gaming contexts
