What do you love about working at EPAM?
Here I can broaden my horizons and grow professionally every day – there’s always something new to solve. There are interesting projects and tasks but what is even more important is that there are super smart people around me (and lots of young people), cool international conferences and local meet-ups, communication with customers, and high standards for our products.
What sets EPAM apart from other companies?
EPAM exudes professionalism and stability.
What is one of the most interesting tasks/projects you’ve worked on at EPAM?
I was really lucky to be on all of my projects. They were all interesting and challenging and included data mining, mobile, search, semantic web, travel and lodging and logistics.
How has EPAM supported your professional development?
I’ve received full support from the very beginning in whatever I wanted to learn or try. I was able to discuss everything and it was transparent for me. For example, if you want more challenging tasks, you will get them. If you lack certain knowledge, there is training available. If you are bored with your current activities, you can try a new role. If you want to share your knowledge, you can give a presentation at a conference.
What advice would you give to people thinking about applying to work at EPAM?
Is it going to be smooth and easy to work here? No.
Will it be boring? No.
Will you gain a new knowledge and expertise? Yes.
Can you build a career here like you want? Yes.
What opportunities have you had at EPAM that you may not have had elsewhere?
I know that my voice and my opinion matter - really.
What’s the best thing about working at EPAM?
I think IT is a perfect example of making a living from your hobby. If you want to develop and gain new knowledge (and see how your knowledge serves other people), you certainly can do it here.
