ANSELL GAINS A COMPETITIVE EDGE WITH A TAKE-ANYWHERE, OFFLINE SALES APPLICATION

Ansell, a 100-year old global manufacturing company, specializes in the production of healthcare safety, industrial, and consumer products that include a wide range of high-quality protective gloves, suits, workwear, and healthcare safety solutions.

What makes Ansell so unique is its approach to customer satisfaction: Ansell developed a patented algorithm to gather data about customer product feedback based on information collected at jobsites, and then integrated this information into selling opportunities. But as many jobsites lacked internet connectivity to use the algorithm, Ansell’s sales team had to resort to pen and paper to record data, resulting in forgotten details and order inaccuracies.

EPAM worked with Ansell to enhance on-the-spot selling ability with an offline application that allows salespeople to store and calculate info locally via their mobile device. Built with Xamarin, the application maximizes selling opportunities while optimizing product orders for Ansell clients to ensure they get the appropriate equipment with minimum order error.
