STREAMLINING A TELECOM PROVIDER’S DOOR-TO-DOOR SALES STRATEGY WITH AN INTELLIGENT APP

After its acquisition by a multinational telecom company, the client, a leading provider of TV, DVR, and VOD services in Germany, needed to upgrade its door-to-door (D2D) sales application to include and action upon all of the parent company’s data and services, along with those of the German cable provider. To make this possible, EPAM worked as an integration partner on the project in order to achieve a successful outcome for all parties involved.

EPAM integrated the two companies’ data and services against a strict timeline, and then created a highly efficient D2D sales navigator that optimizes routes for sales agents based on:

  • Time passed between visits by sales agents
  • Time passed since the last contract was signed
  • Availability of new products in location
