EPAM Banking Byte Seminar in London: Key Ideas and Insights
On May 20th, EPAM hosted the London Banking Byte Seminar at Level 39 in Canary Wharf. To keep you updated on the latest news, we’ve gathered some highlights from the event.
Our three speakers, Carl Hynes from Barclays, Yev Galper from EPAM, and David Brear, formerly from Gartner Consulting, discussed important new ideas and insights, which have been summarized and provided for you below.
All agreed on the vital role that Bank branch transformation is playing in improving customer experience, loyalty, and the provision of relevant services.
Carl Hynes, Head of Branch Transformation & Self Service at Barclays, outlined how Barclays are addressing a broad customer base who still depends on branches, but where customer datum, analytics and apps are enabling Customer advisers in the branch to deliver a much improved service to customers. This strikes importance both for customer satisfaction and loyalty as well as revenue growth.
Yev Galper, Head of Mobile Competency Center at EPAM, presented EPAM's award winning Citi Concierge service that is being implemented in Citi to facilitate a faster, more relevant, and efficient service to personalized branch customers. A pre event survey of delegates produced some interesting results about priorities for putting the customer first. These results are being synthesised into an info graphic which we will be publishing shortly.
The next Banking Byte will be focusing on innovation and the growing role of digital advisory capabilities in wealth management and retail banking. The event will again be on September 17th at Level39 in Canary Wharf.
