Physical Product Development

Creating intelligent physical products for a connected world.

We make the future real.

Navigating the product development path from idea to reality requires partners with the proven user research, design, development, prototyping, testing, product lifecycle, continuous improvement and manufacturing expertise to bring your cutting-edge products and experiences to market.

Our integrated physical product development team of human factors engineers and hardware, software, and design experts uses human-centered processes and agile methodologies, like design thinking, TRIZ and HCD, to accelerate time-to-market and bring world-class products to life. Whether a connected solution, retail experience or regulated medical device, we think holistically across industries to drive success.

  • Our Customer Solutions

01

Developed the first FDA-approved handheld skin smoothing laser for in-home use, paired with a connected device to encourage compliance and help consumers monitor results and encourage continued use.

02

Developed a novel transport system for automated clinical laboratories, enabling low-cost patient sample diagnostics at increased speed, capacity and agility.

03

Co-created a Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) transportable surgical robot by combining a five-axis robot and surgeon interface to precisely and virtually control our client's surgical instruments.

04

Developed an intuitive handle system for a surgical procedure to accurately place an implant into a specific region of the heart.

05

Working with a MedTech start-up, we developed a commercial solution for an electro-mechanical control system and disposable inter-esophageal temperature sensor probe for use during cardiac ablation procedures.

06

For a new pharmaceutical therapy, we designed the necessary child resistant packaging and performed formative resonance testing to develop a system for a complex treatment regimen.
