EPAM Canada Wins Bronze Prize on CDN’s Channel Elite Awards for Best Mobile Solution

Press Release:

Newtown, PA — October 15, 2012  EPAM (NYSE:EPAM), a leading provider of complex software engineering solutions and a leader in Central and Eastern European IT service delivery, has announced that EPAM Canada was selected as the Bronze Winner of Best Mobile Solution at the 2012 CDN Awards Gala. CDN, Canada’s No.1 IT channel publication ranks Canadian Solution Providers in ten categories including Best Enterprise Solution, Best Cloud Computing Solution, Best Collaborative Solution and Best Mobile Solution. The annual awards gala recognizes excellence across the large and diverse community of Canadian technology partners. Winners were announced at a gala event in Toronto on September 11, 2012.

The solution developed by EPAM Canada was implemented for a client with a large workforce of field technicians who install cable services and complete orders. EPAM’s solution is an HTML5 based application that is device agnostic and can run on a variety of smartphone OS platforms such as Android, Blackberry and iPhone. The client is experiencing enhanced efficiency with a full 45 minute reduction per order by eliminating the time spent by the technician on the phone trying to complete the order. With a large team of approximately 600 technicians completing 2000 jobs, the client is experiencing significant cost and time reduction while increasing customer satisfaction.

"We are proud of our team for winning the bronze for mobile solution of the year. With over 100 applicants, this was a hotly contested space and a great achievement," said Mark Rechsteiner, Vice President, EPAM Canada. "This award recognizes the noteworthy achievement of EPAM and our client. We have a terrific team of great individuals who work in a leading-edge IT environment where collaboration leads to unique and innovative business solutions for our customers."
