As Executive Chairman, Mr. Dobkin remains actively involved in shaping EPAM’s long-term strategic direction, maintaining key relationships with clients, partners, and investors, providing guidance on critical strategic initiatives, and promoting the Company’s brand worldwide. Working closely with EPAM’s executive leadership team, he helps ensure that the values, relationships, and strategic focus that have defined EPAM for decades continue to guide its future.
From EPAM’s inception in 1993 until September 2025, Mr. Dobkin served as EPAM's CEO, President, and Chairman of the Board. Under his leadership, EPAM grew from a New Jersey-based startup with Eastern European roots, into a leading global provider of digital transformation services, setting the standard in digital and physical product development and digital platform engineering services while preserving its innovative, purpose-driven culture.
During his tenure as CEO, EPAM became a Forbes Global 2000 company and joined the S&P 500 index. In July 2025, he was one of just 24 founders/CEOs (4.8 percent) in the S&P 500—and one of only nine in the technology sector—who led their company from inception to inclusion in the prestigious index.
