Chief Marketing Officer, SVP

Phil Walsh is the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at EPAM, where he leads the Company’s global marketing organization.

In this role, he drives the Company’s brand strategy, global market positioning and demand generation initiatives to support EPAM’s growth in software engineering, digital transformation and AI-native innovation. He focuses on architecting data-driven marketing engines that integrate sales, delivery and marketing to accelerate pipeline velocity and enhance client engagement.

Before joining EPAM, Mr. Walsh served as CMO at Turing, an AI-driven tech services company, where he led the transformation of the brand into a strategic AI training data partner for leading foundational model builders. He drove significant revenue growth and successfully launched the ‘Proprietary Intelligence’ go-to-market strategy for Fortune 500 organizations. Before Turing, he was CMO at AKASA, where he led marketing initiatives that integrated advanced generative AI into healthcare operations.

Mr. Walsh held several leadership roles at Cognizant, including vice president and global head of field marketing, where he built a global marketing operation across more than 30 countries. He also served as CMO for North America and for the healthcare and life sciences verticals. Earlier in his career, Mr. Walsh held leadership and sales roles at Baxter International and Baxa Corporation.

Mr. Walsh holds an MBA from Wingate University and a bachelor's degree in biological sciences from Clemson University.
