AUTOMATION OF TAX PAYMENTS FOR SUBCONTRACTORS

Business Challenge

Customer was tasked with processing electronic tax invoices in the form of scanned documents or photos once a quarter for 2,000+ employees.

Solution
Leveraging UiPath and a third-party OCR library, EPAM’s solution enabled the customer to process invoices via ABBYY FlexiCapture, which recognizes text and has a structure verification mechanism for unrecognizable documents, resulting in a seamless upload of employee payment data.

  • Achieved 99% accuracy of document processing 

BOOKING ENGINE BY CHATBOT

Business Challenge
The customer’s managers needed to book conference rooms for 1-on-1 meetings several times each day. The process of finding an available timeslot and free room took around five minutes to schedule per meeting.

Solution
The EPAM team integrated Skype for Business with Microsoft’s LUIS to recognize the task through natural language conversation and leveraged UiPath to book the room and inform each manager through Skype for Business.

Results 

  • Reduced management time for operations by 10 to 15 seconds per task, saving the customer 90+ working hours per day globally
