DESCRIPTION


We are currently looking for a Hybris Solutions Architect to provide an end-to-end service offering including Application Development and Architecture, helping clients to determine the best solutions for their business needs.

As a Hybris Solution Architect, you'll help EPAM's clients to solve critical commerce business needs by building upon the SAP/Hybris platform. This position will require advanced technical depth and experience, technical leadership, and multi-faceted communication skills. You will be involved in the full project lifecycle from analysis and planning to development and deployment, as well as assisting with pre-sales opportunities. You will leverage leading-edge platforms to design and develop large-scale e-Commerce solutions for the Fortune 500 companies.

Responsibilities

  • Extend the SAP/Hybris Platform to meet client requirements
  • Develop solution and document customizations to commercial products to meet the client's requirements including object-oriented design, database/repository changes, screen changes, security definition, workflow flowcharts, and custom documentation
  • Estimate time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement project; develops project plan incorporating all project variables
  • Establish criteria concerning deliverability, performance, maintenance, design and costs
  • Assist in analyze client processes through needs analysis and recommending new business models, workflows, or innovative solutions
  • Suggest innovative solutions to business problems/processes that leverage technology to provide marketing differentiation, efficiency improvements, and better user experiences
  • Mentor peers and leading of technical implementation teams
  • Write documentation for requirements analysis, design specifications, deployment guides, test plans, or project workplans
  • Participate in overall project management, time estimation, and resource scheduling
  • Travel to client sites as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in software design, systems integration and development or consulting
  • 2-3 years of project experience architecting hybris applications
  • Experience in Java, Object Oriented programming and Multi-Threaded programming is required
  • Expertise in Content Management systems like Adobe CQ, Tridion, Interwoven is a plus
  • Experience with search clusters based on Apache Solr or Oracle Endeca is a plus
  • Experience with JEE, Spring Framework and Multi-Tier Internet Architecture is required
  • Understanding of SQL, Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), Cloud computing, HTTP, HTML and XML is desired
  • Experience with common cloud technologies such as Amazon E2C or Microsoft Azure
  • Requires the ability to establish solid working relationships with clients, plus the ability to work effectively as a virtual member of a dynamic, dispersed team and to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and planning skills are necessary
  • Hybris Commerce Developer Certifications is a plus

  • Front-end technologies such as Adobe CQ, Hybris WCMS
  • Messaging and RESTful services
  • Data modeling and extension to support custom business objects
  • Integration with external Payment Processors and understanding of related concepts such as hosted payment pages, direct API integration, and tokenization
  • Extension of commerce sub-systems such as promotions, pricing, inventory, and customer service
  • Experience with the following Hybris modules: Product Cockpit, Customer Service, WCMS, OMS
  • Various caching- and in-memory data grid solutions, like EhCache or Oracle Coherence
  • Various integrations with CDN, social media (Facebook, LinkedIn) and customer experience analysis solutions (Google Analytics, Bazaarvoice), etc
  • JIRA, Rally, Git, Confluence
