Currently we are looking for a Senior Software Testing Engineer for our Karaganda office to make the team even stronger.

  • Manual testing
  • Requirements analysis
  • Test cases development
  • Test strategy development
  • Writing test plans
  • Defects hunting
  • Test results analysis and reporting
  • Providing estimations
  • Automation principles understanding

Requirements

  • Experience working in a team with Software Development Models (RUP/ Waterfall/ XP/ Agile)
  • Knowledge of and experience in testing (Black box, Gray box)
  • Knowledge of full cycle of requirements analysis/testing based on domain specificity of product (clarify questions, investigate business logic, make proposals how to improve application)
  • Ability to write good test cases without gaps for any complicated functionality without supervision and review
  • Ability to create and apply test strategy, prioritize testing using risk based approach; define strong and weak areas in Test Strategy using metrics
  • Ability to add value to the existing test plan related to your area of responsibility
  • Strong understanding of when it's reasonable to use automation; define test cases for automation; evaluate profit from automation (ROI) together with manual testing, propose automation to customer and explain necessity of automation to customer
  • Ability to create complex SQL-queries (several tables, create/delete/drop, select with join, merge tables, etc.)
  • Ability to read/understand/update XML files; create/send/get request/response using SoapUI, Fiddler etc. or automation frameworks
