We are currently looking for a Director of Account Management to join our fast-growing team. Our Account Management leaders are analogous to a Client Partner in technology services organizations. The ideal candidate for this position will have a blend of consulting, business development, and account management in their background focused on the process / discrete manufacturing segment of the CPG, Life Sciences, and/or Industrial Manufacturing markets. What You’ll Do

  • Primary face off to assignment sponsors and senior client staff within Manufacturing Operations with a preference for process manufacturing expertise. Actively manage client relationships. Support business development opportunities. Mentor staff
  • Experience in defining and designing Industry X.0, Manufacturing X.0, and or Factory X.0 digital transformations involving process manufacturing- and or discrete manufacturing- focused clients. Desirable to have worked with at least 3 to 5 manufacturing clients in a consultative capacity
  • Demonstrated experience in building enduring and successful client relationships with Manufacturing IT, Operations, Engineering, and R&D leadership
  • Act as an account management lead (or client partner) with clients, internal teams, and BU heads / sales leads
  • Align with other EPAM account managers and senior EPAM leadership to co-develop / support account plans and strategies for sales, delivery, growth, and client satisfaction
  • Serve as the engagement architect, responsible for account plans and strategies, and work directly with client product, engineering, marketing, and/or leadership teams to position EPAM for success
  • Understand the intersection between technology, customers, and business; serve as an expert consultant assisting clients with digital transformation / digital product strategies and solutions
  • Stay abreast of current and emerging trends, unique opportunities and challenges of the industrial and manufacturing markets and geographies in which the clients operate, and how these affect client businesses and initiatives
  • Work closely with delivery management to ensure successful delivery through an integrated delivery model
  • Responsible for shaping solutions and properly scoping / pricing engagements, establishing optimal operating models and project team organization, and leading the transition from the sales process to the delivery phase
  • Establish and cultivate strong relationships with clients at senior levels as well as external and internal partners to maximize growth within an account/client portfolio
  • Deliver on EPAM’s growth and performance objectives including achieve a level of 80% consulting utilization within 1 year of employment


  • 10+ years demonstrated track record of developing and growing client relationships while selling and program managing delivery of technology services
  • 5 years of selling IIoT and Manufacturing Operations services and solutions to process / discrete manufacturing companies, and leading teams that are delivering end-to-end IoT solutions and digital transformation programs
  • Familiarity with two or more industrial markets experiencing IIoT-enabling disruption and digital transformation
  • Excellent understanding of Manufacturing and is known as an SME/thought leader in Digital / IIoT Solutions. Brings expertise and insights into the solutions we deliver to build client capability; knows how to quickly and appropriately identify and engage internal and external experts
  • Strong problem solver and creative thinker with gravitas
  • Ability to operate at the strategic level yet being close enough to the details to add client value and be a real support to the EPAM team
  • Experience managing and monitoring performance metrics across large client accounts and account portfolios
  • Exceptional leadership/management, oral communication, and written communication skills
  • Strong IIoT / Manufacturing Operations technology service knowledge and hands-on experience with an emphasis on consulting, IIoT / Manufacturing Operations product management best practices, and IIoT / Manufacturing Operations Manufacturing Operations product development
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with an extended team including multi-national onshore and offshore teammates

  • Depending on the position, EPAM employees may need to work at a client worksite or an EPAM office.
