Accountant Description

Currently, we are looking for an Accountant for our Guadalajara global shared service
Accounts Payable team to make our team even stronger.

Responsibilities

  • Checking of correctness of accounting attributes for expenditure supporting documents
  • Making bank payments to EPAM counterparties (domestic and foreign wire payments; batch and individual transfers)
  • US GAAP bookkeeping of Company (number of branches) expenditures by types, the same as US GAAP bookkeeping of respective AP and bank payments
  • Monthly accounting close of mentioned accounts in SAP in accordance with established procedure
  • Communication with local (statutory) accountants on bookkeeping issues if required
  • Providing of explanations/supporting documentation to Senior/Lead Accountant on all in-scope companies, if required
  • Dealing with audit requests and participating in regular meetings with external and internal auditors
  • Participating in regular improvement process activities with IT development team, active analysis of areas of improvement and testing of new improvements

Requirements

  • Finance/Accounting background
  • Minimum 1 year of accounting working experience
  • ACCA/DipIFR would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of SAP would be beneficial
  • Good knowledge of English (Intermediate level at least)
  • Good MS office skills, especially Excel skills
  • Attentiveness to details
  • High personal responsibility
  • Ability to work in frames of agreed rules and procedures
  • Readiness to constant self-development
  • Team player
