Responsibilities

  • The Ruby Lead Developer is responsible for supporting solutions that work closely within the context of multiple platforms, SaaS products, and cloud applications. In addition, this person will work closely with IT and Business stakeholders to identify, analyze and resolve application deficiencies and implement high-quality modern software solutions for an Enterprise Deal Management System. This position is also responsible for implementing designs, performing rapid prototyping, and reviewing code to develop enterprise-grade solutions. This person will also provide internal and external teams feedback on building the most robust software platforms possible

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 years of overall software development experience with an emphasis on web development
  • Extensive Experience with Ruby, Ember.JS
  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript (including ES6+, DOM, JQuery, JSON Processing), HTML and CSS
  • Familiarity with CSS processor (less, sass)
  • Experience with MS SQL Server and AWS DynamoDB
  • Experience with REST API
  • Experience working with Azure for deployments
  • In-depth knowledge of Chrome Dev Tools
  • Solid understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles
  • Experience with Git
  • Object-oriented analysis and design
  • Lead the team of engineers (4-5 ruby developers)
