Delivery Manager (Automotive) Japan

What You’ll Do

• Build relationships with key client stakeholders while ensuring a clear understanding of their strategic goals and continuous alignment, soliciting feedback, and maintaining high levels of satisfaction
• Facilitate discussions regarding emerging automotive technologies and their potential impact on client's business goals
• Ensure that projects adhere to set methodologies and quality standards within the budget, analyze potential risks, and devise mitigation strategies
• Take ownership of the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, control, and closure
• Function as the bridge between international teams, facilitating knowledge-sharing workshops and resource allocation
• Advocate for and implement agile methodologies within the team, promoting frequent iterations, regular stand-ups, and sprint reviews

What You Have

• At least 2 years solid track record of managing projects in the automotive software realm, with an emphasis on in-vehicle solutions such as connected cars, digital cockpit, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS)
• Proven experience as a Project/Delivery Manager or similar role in the IT industry
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and software development life cycles
• Ability to understand a client’s business, needs, expectations, and requirements
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with proficiency in Japanese
