With a vision to be the first option in Meat & Seafood, Wild Fork saw an opportunity to enhance its eCommerce capabilities by expanding into the Canadian market. Wild Fork partnered with EPAM’s global team to build a modern composable platform that enabled a seamless customer experience with exciting features. Following the success of the Canadian commerce store, our partnership grew — scaling the solution to the U.S. and launching a new native mobile app. As its North American digital partner, EPAM helped Wild Fork realize its vision of transforming protein shopping —both in-store and online.

Raising the “Steaks” in Digital Commerce
Wild Fork, the direct-to-consumer retail brand of JBS Foods, one of the world's leading food companies, is on a mission to be the first option in meat and seafood close to you. Built on the purpose of nourishing a better life, Wild Fork blast-freezes its 800+ products at peak freshness — delivering the highest-quality proteins at competitive prices. As a modern-day meat and seafood market, Wild Fork offers customers across North America the option of shopping in one of its stores or online through its eCommerce site.
In 2022, as Wild Fork prepared to enter the Canadian market, the company needed a scalable digital commerce solution to support its expanding geographic footprint. The company turned to EPAM for its experience delivering composable transformations for some of the world’s leading companies. Together, EPAM and Wild Fork partnered to develop and implement a modern commerce platform built on MACH (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native and Headless) architecture. Leveraging Microsoft Azure’s cloud infrastructure, commercetools’ headless commerce platform and Contentful’s content management system, we created a bespoke solution that simplifies integration of backend operations with SAP ERP. The commerce store offers a user-friendly, engaging shopping experience with innovative features that customers love. Built with scalability and flexibility in mind, the commerce site can easily handle peaks and surges — such as holidays, outdoor BBQs and the Super Bowl — which are crucial to Wild Fork’s business.
With the success of the Canadian site, EPAM was selected as Wild Fork’s North American digital partner, and our work expanded to the larger eCommerce store wildforkfoods.com. We leveraged the composable architecture from wildfork.ca to enable faster development and deployment so the solution could be quickly scaled to all U.S.-based stores.
In the latest milestone of our partnership, Wild Fork wanted to develop a native mobile application as its customers are more inclined to shop on their phones. The multinational application was built by EPAM and covers all its locations in the U.S. and Canada. Released in 2025, the app has been a runaway success — boasting a high conversion rate across locations.
Since the beginning of EPAM and Wild Fork’s partnership, the teams have embraced agile ways of working across various time zones— providing the flexibility and global collaboration needed to meet fast-changing market demands. Looking to the future, we are exploring opportunities to leverage AI for advanced personalization and expand eCommerce operations into Mexico and other geographies. All with the goal of transforming how people shop for proteins.
