Senior / Lead Data Engineer Tbilisi, Georgia or Remote

What You’ll Do

• Implement data source integration via API and files-based approaches
• Execute the Data Intake process for the mentioned Data Sources, including ETL/ELT, DWH Modeling, and Optimization
• Develop data mapping and implement data models in the Data Warehouse (DWH)
• Orchestrate data flows to ensure seamless data movement
• Implement BQ (BigQuery) reports
• Enact the CDC (Change Data Capture) strategy

What You Have

• Proficiency in Python scripting
• Expert knowledge and adherence to EngX in day-to-day activities
• Hands-on familiarity with BigQuery or relevant competence with DBMS and SQL
• Knowledge of GCP, Python (or another scripting language), CloudComposer, and BigQuery
• Proven track record in implementing ETL/ELT processes
• Understanding of the various components and layers within a Data Platform (including Data Intake, Storage/DWH, and BI)
• Core Engineering skills: versioning, ci/cd, quality, automated testing
• English level – B2 and higher
