Then you have an opportunity to join as a Cloud and DevOps Practice Delivery Director to work with highly skilled and engaged teams across the globe on DevOps transformation and Microsoft Cloud (Azure) enablement strategies, Native Cloud development and migration opportunities. You will be working on a range of programs connecting program management, architecture, and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Work hand in hand with client’s project and program counterparts to implement Cloud and DevOps transformation, develop Cloud Native apps, migrate enterprise workloads to the Microsoft Cloud (Azure)
  • Drive Cloud Practice Growth and Revenue targets
  • Assess customer Cloud and DevOps maturity, identify gaps and suggest improvements
  • Assist in presales and transition deals into engagements e.g., from initial customer conversations, to contributing or owning a proposal, to executing first (or end-to-end) phases of delivery
  • Collaborate and engage with Microsoft Corp. Sales, Partner, Channel, and Product Teams on joint engagements, opportunities
  • Create a unified strategy for cloud transformation governance, automation, security, implementation, and operations
  • Day-to-day lead the customer through the technical and organizational challenges of Cloud and DevOps transformation specific to Microsoft Cloud (Azure)
  • Responsible and accountable for Microsoft Cloud (Azure) migration and DevOps transformation project's success, adherence to timeline and budget
  • Drive quality and productivity of EPAM global delivery teams
  • Familiarity with Microsoft incentives programs, processes, and executing milestone-based engagements funded via End-Customer Investment Funds (ECIF), Azure Migrate & Modernize Programs (AMM), Azure Innovate, etc
  • Address risk and issues through concrete action plans by working with EPAM account and client engagement team
  • Contribute to Microsoft Cloud Practice Thought Leadership and Visibility (e.g., Whitepaper creation, Service Offerings, Speaking engagements, etc.)

Requirements

  • Avid technologist, with deep expertise in IT service delivery and program management
  • Large-scale software development or application engineering with recent coding experience in some of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, Objective-C, Node.js, .NET, Python, PHP, or Ruby
  • Designing and building applications using container and serverless technologies
  • Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability, and high availability
  • Deep expertise in solution architecture including web services, relational and nonrelational databases, and front-end and/or back-end technologies
  • Good exposure to Agile software development methodologies and DevOps practices such as Continuous Integration (CI), and automated deployment
  • Experience working with highly scalable, performant, and mission-critical architectures
  • Strong hands-on experience in managing a complete set of activities related to the project delivery in a company such as SOW negotiation, project initiation, client management, project delivery and execution
  • Able to stand up for the team during hard times, handling escalations, expert in conflict resolution, able to bring very fuzzy ideas and vision into tangible deliverables
  • Ability to suggest competitive and innovative technical decisions, get client buy-in and deliver commitments
  • Strong communication skills, and ability to present technical ideas in business-friendly language
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Relevant cloud certifications are highly desirable

  • This posting includes a good faith range of the salary EPAM would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate. The range provided reflects base salary only. Individual compensation offers within the range are based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to: geographic location, experience, credentials, education, training; the demand for the role; and overall business and labor market considerations. Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range: $181k – $280k. In addition, the details highlighted in this job posting above are a general description of all other expected benefits and compensation for the position
