Software Maintenance Engineer with HPC Georgia or Remote

What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive support for High-Performance Computing (HPC) applications, including deployment, updates, monitoring and user communication
• Ensure efficient use of data science use cases, employing tools such as Python, R, IDEs, and command line interfaces to train models and maximize GPU utilization effectively

What You Have

• Proficiency in Linux operating systems
• Demonstrated HPC skills and prior experience in related roles
• Familiarity with HPC best practices, particularly in job submission for workload distribution
• Ability to troubleshoot effectively, conduct root-cause-analysis and navigate internal ticketing systems and processes (e.g., RX & DDIT)

Nice to have

• Experience with job schedulers such as UGE/AGE and Slurm
• Proficiency in R language and Python programming
• Background in running machine learning (ML) tasks on GPUs
• Previous work experience in Life Sciences, Biotechnology or Pharmaceuticals would be a plus
