Technical Analyst with SQL skills Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
Come work with us in the city of Zürich as a key player in our banking client's Global Messaging and Screening department within Group Technology.
Your role will blend the responsibilities of a Business Analyst and a 'Static Data Developer'. We're looking for people with strong analytical skills, excellent SQL knowledge and a solid understanding of SWIFT (Financial messaging). The role requires a mix of remote and on-site work in a hybrid model.

Responsibilities
- Define and configure the financial messages' routing logic in a complicated environment with plenty of different message types, across many up- and downstream applications
- Discuss, conceptualize and design solutions in collaboration with client and team
- Actively participate in the development and implementation of solutions with user story creation, team coordination, project scope tracking and managing requirements
- Work with distributed team of onshore and nearshore colleagues and work onsite with the client
- Take ownership of tasks and issues and follows through until completion and resolution
Requirements
- Good understanding of SQL
- Proficient user of MS Access
- Understanding of SWIFT and ISO2022 Standards and knowledge of SWIFT FIN MTs
- Understanding the structure of the XML documents
- Proven experience in using JIRA/GitLab
- Very good analytical skills and attention to details
- Fluent English skills are a must
- German language skills are significant advantage
Nice to have
- Experience with Mainframe and DB2 database would be an advantage
