The Car of the Future Will Become a Service Provider Hub
The car has long been a computer on wheels, and the software-defined vehicle is opening up entirely new business models. In the future, direct integration of service providers such as insurance companies, car-sharing services or fleet management will generate revenue. EPAM Systems has developed the vehicle-to-cloud platform AosEdge for this purpose.
The transformation is progressing: Automobile manufacturers are investing billions in the development of software for their new models. The software-defined vehicle is not only about operation, but also about the best possible utilization of the data generated. And anyone thinking about the business model with which the automotive industry wants to make its sales in the future has to look further ahead. The focus is shifting from the pure utilization of data to the implementation of services - the car is becoming a hub for service providers who make their offers available on a situation-specific and data-driven basis. To integrate these service providers, EPAM Systems has now presented the vehicle-to-cloud (V2C) platform "AosEdge" in cooperation with the semiconductor manufacturer Renesas.

Zur Einbindung dieser Dienstleister hat EPAM Systems jetzt in Kooperation mit dem Halbleiterhersteller Renesas die Vehicle-to-Cloud (V2C)-Plattform "AosEdge" vorgestellt.
