Responsibilities

  • Be an essential point of contact for all escalations and concerns relating to US Background Investigations
  • Partner with our external background screening administrators to execute background checks for newcomers and existing employees
  • Review BGC results, identify gaps, and follow up with employees, managers, and other stakeholders with appropriate and timely updates
  • Accurately process data from official documentation, forms, service tickets, and applicant apps
  • Responsible for executing the end-to-end I-9 verification process to ensure internal and regulatory compliance
  • Support additional programs related to an employee's eligibility to work
  • Responsible for audit support to our internal stakeholders, compiling documents, and ensuring accuracy
  • Prioritize BGC requests/applications according to urgency and complexity

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Background Investigations or HR-related field
  • An understanding of risk management and security practices
  • Skilled in data handling and using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel
  • An ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment while ensuring a high-quality candidate experience
  • Experience with the protection of confidential or sensitive materials and data
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of employees, external clients, and candidates effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt easily to changing case volumes and types

Nice to have

  • I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification experience
  • Knowledge of US HR functions, policies, and practices
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business, or a similar field
