Silo Busting 19: A Conversation about Blend Space: Shopping in an Uncertain Future

What’s next for retail? If you ask Buck Sleeper, who heads our Restaurants and Retail Vertical, as our producer Ken Gordon recently did, the answer is Blend Space. This is a proof-of-concept that Sleeper’s group has devised to help retailers harmonize the various digital and brick-and-mortar modes of shopping. This involves a recognition, Sleeper says, that the “primary modes of discovery and transaction are no longer tightly bound to a single channel or a single interaction.” Blend Space can help retailers bring together elements such as experience design, digital design, space design, data, edge retail distribution and more.
