Lead DevOps Engineer Latvia

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain environments, CI/CD pipeline, operations and sysops-related components
• Create deployment scripts
• Work with central log aggregation, log monitoring and alerting: collect logs, store logs, build dashboards, configure alerting
• Deal with metrics and performance monitoring and alerting: collect metrics, store metrics, build dashboards, configure alerting
• Hold automate go-live activities
• Operate the system, make sure that the system is healthy and has enough resources
• Implement automation processes
• Help the developers debug problems
• Investigate alternative solutions
• Create the operational manual

What You Have

• Experience with:
  • Kubernetes, Azure Cloud
  • Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins
  • Python and Linux shell scripting
  • Linux troubleshooting
  • Docker
  • Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana
  • Prometheus, Grafana
  • Container orchestration (preferably with Kubernetes & Helm charts)
• Conceptual understanding of when and why certain technologies and methods, such as Kubernetes, Site Reliability Engineering, IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform) are employed
